The Ingalls Pavilion located in Hwy. 20 in Decatur, AL is now completed. This attractive looking building is next to Ingalls Harbor . It features two gigantic fire places, wood columns and trim, a steep slope metal roof and other interesting features. The Kratos project at Research Park in Huntsville, AL was completed in October of this year. This three story office building was built in a record time of about 10 months. See pictures of this project in the Commercial/Retail & Office section of the PORTFOLIO tab.  

The Huntsville, Madison County Veterans Memorial was dedicated on Veterans Day, November 11, 2011. Hundreds of Veterans, Family Members and others attended the ceremony. Afterwords the annual Veterans Day Parade was held through the streets of downtown Huntsville, AL. Fite has received an Award of Excellence from the Associated Builders and Contractors for the St. Joseph Parish Additions and Renovations project. The entry competed against other similar project in the commercial, less than $2 million category.

Fite recently began an 45,000 sq. ft. addition to the Magic Steel plant in Decatur. Magic Steel is located in the Nucor Industrial park of off Hwy. 20 in Decatur, AL.

This year Fite is celebrating 35 years of business. Thank you, to all our employees, customers, sub-contractors,  suppliers and others.

The Huntsville / Madison County Veterans Memorial project is nearing the end of construction. A dedication to the memorial is set for November 11th. FBC, Inc., urges everyone to visit this memorial.

Recently, Fite Building Co. completed the American Family Care facility in Smyrna, TN. Pictures of the project will be posted portfolio section soon.

On September 13th, a safety lunch was held at the Independence Tube project. The BBQ lunch was held to celebrate the exceptional safety efforts of all the workers and to recognize the progress made. About 125 people attended the lunch.

     On July 27, 2011, Dennen Steel Corp. helds it’s official groundbreaking ceremony. The ground breaking was held at the Yellow Creek Port in Iuka MS, which is the site of the new 50,000 sq. ft. plant. See progress pictures of the Dennen Steel project under our current projects section.
