A new branch for Progress Bank in Huntsville, AL on Carl T. Jones Drive has come out of the ground in a flash. Currently structual steel is being erected. This project should be complete around the end of the year. You can see progress pictures under the Current Projects tab.

The extensive renovations to Twickenham Church of Christ have been completed. The renovations included new paint though out, new lighting, windows and more. See completed pictures under the Current Projects and/or Portfolio tabs. Twickenham Church of Christ is located at 7500 Whitesburg Drive, Huntsville, AL.

St. Joseph’s Catholic Church recently topped out. Currently the interior and exterior roof in being installed as well as HVAC, electrical, plumbing and more. This new sanctuary will be an exciting new addition to the church. It is located 2300 Beasley Ave NW, Huntsville, AL.

The second phase of the System Software Engineering Annex project is nearing completion. This project is located at Redstone Arsenal, AL. It includes office space, labs, a high bay with a overhead crane, snack bar, fitness center and more. It is an addition to Phase I. See pictures of this project under the Current Project tab.

Fite Building Co., a member of ABC’s North AL Chapter, has been awarded Accredited Quality Contractor (AQC) status by ABC.

The AQC program recognizes and honors construction firms that document their commitment to excellence in four key areas of corporate responsibility: safety, employee benefits, training and community relations. A company that meets the criteria set forth in the program, and has earned Safety Training Evaluation Process (STEP) Gold or Platinum at least once in the past two years, is formally designated an “Accredited Quality Contractor.”

On March 31, 2010 American Family Care held their official groundbreaking ceremony. Their new 4,487 sq. ft. medical facility will be located at 2604 Hwy. 31 South in Decatur, AL.

The 180,000 sq. ft. warehouse expansion at Independence Tube Corp. in Decatur, AL, recently topped out. It is schedule to be completed in May of 2010. Progress pictures are under the Current Projects tab above.

The first phase of the renovations at Alabama Farmers Co-Op home office has ended. An exisitng warehouse was completed renovated into new office space. The existing office building will now be renovated.

FBC, Inc. recently received three 2009 Excellence in Construction Awards from the North Alabama Chapter of the Associated of Builders and Contractors. The awards were for the Madison A&B project, the Waterfront Condominiums project and the Air Cargo Expansion project.
