Independence Tube Celebrates with Grand Re-Opening

On April 27th, 2012, Independence Tube celebrated its newly rebuilt and upgraded mill with a Grand Re-Opening Celebration. Independence Tube was hit by an EF 5 tornado on April 27th, 2011. During the past year Fite Building Co. and a multitude of sub-contractors and vendors have worked tirelessly to rebuild the devastated plant. Now, one year later, Independence Tube is back on-line bigger and meaner than before. Congratulations to all that work so hard on this very unique and challenging project.

Futaba project on Wall Triana Hwy. well underway

A new facility of Futaba on Wall Triana Hwy. in Huntsville, AL is well underway. Currently earthwork is being completed.

Ingalls Pavilion in Decatur Complete

The Ingalls Pavilion located in Hwy. 20 in Decatur, AL is now completed. This attractive looking building is next to Ingalls Harbor . It features two gigantic fire places, wood columns and trim, a steep slope metal roof and other interesting features. Kratos Project Complete

The Kratos project at Research Park in Huntsville, AL was completed in October of this year. This three story office building was built in a record time of about 10 months. See pictures of this project in the Commercial/Retail & Office section of the PORTFOLIO tab.

Veterans Memorial Dedicated on Veterans Day

The Huntsville, Madison County Veterans Memorial was dedicated on Veterans Day, November 11, 2011. Hundreds of Veterans, Family Members and others attended the ceremony. Afterwords the annual Veterans Day Parade was held through the streets of downtown Huntsville, AL. Fite Receives Award Of Excellence

Fite has received an Award of Excellence from the Associated Builders and Contractors for the St. Joseph Parish Additions and Renovations project. The entry competed against other similar project in the commercial, less than $2 million category.

Fite begins addition to Magic Steel in Decatur

Fite recently began an 45,000 sq. ft. addition to the Magic Steel plant in Decatur. Magic Steel is located in the Nucor Industrial park of off Hwy. 20 in Decatur, AL.

Dedication for Huntsville/Madison Veterans Memorial Set for Nov. 11th

American Family Care in Smyrna, TN Completed
